Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. (Eng.) in CSE or IT or any other relevant subject from any recognized university/ institution
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Development of BRAC Enterprise standards IT strategy, annual operational plan, technology architecture and the IT operations governance process ensuring synergy with organisational strategy and direction
∎ Ensure that technology initiatives, portfolio of projects, are initiated after proper feasibility study and then execution is managed using best practice principles, (e.g. PMI or PRINCE2)
∎ Build an IT department for the organisation that is capable of executing the technology strategy
∎ Bring all enterprises operations under automation, collaborating with effective networking system to identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
∎ Lead and manage the software development and IT teams to deliver software, infrastructure and architecture that meet the needs of users; Collaborate with E-commerce to deliver site enhancements and provide technical and process direction to the internal application development team. Ensure quality of overall site code
∎ Ensure an effective, resilient and responsive IT support (Hardware, software, networking) to all operations (including 24/7 service operations) especially direct customer related measures
∎ Develop IT team in delivering measurable service quality improvements and cost savings in ICT services to meet organizational objectives
∎ Provide guidelines to the in-house software development team, ensure successful implementation and orient end users
∎ Develop and manage the multi-year IT budget, Provide expertise and detail on costs in the planning and budgeting for activities
∎ Ensure effective vendor selection, project implementation and quality assurance
∎ To contribute to the development, implementation and review of BRAC Enterprises IT policies and procedures
∎ Experience with comprehensive disaster recovery architecture and operations, including storage area network and redundant, highly-available server and network architectures
∎ Ensure KPI & compliance with relevant legislation including the Computer Misuse Act, the Data Protection and Health& Safety Acts (as applicable to IT use), as well best practices in application and network security
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 10 years in progressively responsible IT leadership role for a major company or division of a large corporation
∎ Sound knowledge of software development, Lifecycle methodologies, programming language (java, c++, PHP, Android),NoSQL, Apache servers, Application servers, Production design. Node clustering and Domain, networking and basic business operation process
∎ Demonstrated project management knowledge with application of skills, tools and techniques to a broad range of activities in order to meet the requirements of customers
∎ Excellent organizing skills and able to set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals and track details, data, information and activities.
∎ Determine strategies to move the organization forward, set goals, create and implement actions plans, and evaluate the process and results
∎ Proven leadership and team management skills with 'can-do' approach
