Experience:

Experience
Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience in the RMG sector, with significant experience in a managerial/leadership position.
Strong experience in Knit Garments IE, Production Planning, Capacity Planning and Line Balancing.
Candidates currently working as Head/Manager/AGM/DGM IE & Planning in reputed garments factories are encouraged to apply.
Required Skills
Strong leadership and team-management capability.

Friends Knitwear & Accessories Ltd. is looking for a dynamic, experienced and result-oriented professional to join our team as Head of IE & Planning.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the Industrial Engineering (IE) and Planning Department to ensure smooth and efficient production operations.
Develop and implement production plans based on order status, capacity, manpower, SMV, machine availability and delivery requirements.
Monitor and improve Production Efficiency, Line Efficiency, Manpower Utilization, MMR and Productivity.
Conduct capacity planning and ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines and production lines.
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production plans and monitor achievement against targets.
Analyze SMV, SAM, capacity, line balancing, manpower requirement and production performance.
Ensure effective line balancing and manpower allocation to achieve targeted efficiency.
Identify production bottlenecks and coordinate with Production, Merchandising, Quality, Cutting, Finishing and other relevant departments for timely resolution.
Monitor hourly production, efficiency and target achievement and take corrective actions where required.
Prepare and analyze IE-related reports, production projections, capacity reports and management MIS.
Establish productivity improvement initiatives and reduce unnecessary manpower and operational losses.
Support management in setting realistic production targets and manpower requirements.
Ensure timely order planning from order booking to shipment in coordination with concerned departments.
Review production risks for new orders and provide appropriate planning recommendations.
Develop and maintain effective systems for production forecasting, capacity planning and order tracking.
Present regular performance reports and improvement plans to Top Management.
Lead, develop and motivate the IE & Planning team to achieve organizational objectives.
