Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in IPE / textiles from a reputed University.
∎ Education might be considerable those have practical Experienced.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
At least 2 Years experience in similar position
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Management perspective:
∎ Responsible for effective and efficient use of machineries.
∎ Responsible for effective management of work force. (All the SMO/Helper/IM will be under the IE head) - Production team then be responsible to deliver the productivity based on the given resources while IE practically proves the possibility to do so on the shop floor.
∎ Responsible to provide most effective and efficient line layouts to enhance the efficiency.
∎ Manage "Man/Machine Ratio" (Direct / Indirect ratio).
∎ Direct involvement to the business decisions in accepting orders from customers:
∎ 1. SMV accuracy at the costing stage / Production stage - use GSD or GSD methods.
∎ 2. Risk assessment / Risk Identification / and Risk mitigation
∎ 3. Product simplification
∎ 4. Operation simplifications / Methodologies (Continuous improvement)
∎ Collecting, managing, and presenting of MIS based on the top management's requirements. Preparation of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports based on MIS.
∎ Customer care / Customer communication
∎ Operational Perspective:
∎ Planning -
∎ 1. Finalizing the product wise learning curves - and freeze the plan accordingly
∎ 2. Plan the machineries / Manpower
∎ 3. Ensure the top management requirement of the loading is met (Efficiency, SH)
∎ 4. Active participation for freezing monthly plan, asses the resource requirements.
∎ Training and development of work force.
∎ Finalizing the worker skill matrix and maintain a grading system.
∎ On shop floor:
∎ 1. Line feeding - Ensure the learning curve is met, and the defined efficiency are met for each style.
∎ 2. Line balancing / mitigate the effect of Absenteeism
∎ 3. Constant assessment of the manpower allocated / used, machines allocated / used, and ensure the efficiency and productivity are based on the resources practically used on shop floor.
∎ Assessing lost time, report, and suggest corrective action plans.
∎ Reducing manpower through process analysis.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Over 2-years' experience as a head of IE in minimum 1000 machine factory for woven bottoms
∎ GSD certification would be an added advantage
∎ Strong leadership qualities with competency to manage inter departmental coordination and corporation to deliver the corporate objectives.
∎ Good knowledge in computer application : Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet & mail, etc.
