Experience:

• Bachelor/Honors

• At least 13 years

• Minimum 12-15 years of relevant experience in Commercial, Logistics, roles in 100% Export Oriented Garments/Textile/Manufacturing industry.

• At least 5 years in a leadership position.

• In-depth knowledge of Customs, Bond, VAT, Export-Import, and Shipping Regulations in Bangladesh.

• Strong network with Customs, Port Authorities, and other relevant stakeholders.

Commercial Management:

• Lead and oversee all commercial operations, including Import, Export, Customs, Bond, and Banking activities.
• Ensure smooth execution of all commercial transactions in compliance with company policies and government regulations.
• Handle all L/C (Letter of Credit) related activities efficiently, including opening, amendments, and payments.
• Manage and ensure proper utilization of bonded warehouse facilities as per Bangladesh customs laws.
• Maintain strong relationships with customs, port authorities, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and banks to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor and ensure timely export documentation, shipping, and clearance processes to meet delivery deadlines.
• Resolve commercial disputes or complications effectively with relevant stakeholders.
• Keep updated knowledge of changes in import-export, customs, VAT, and bonded warehouse regulations.

Logistics:

• Oversee the end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, shipping, and distribution.
• Plan and execute effective strategies to optimize logistics costs while ensuring timely delivery of goods.
• Ensure the proper documentation and legal compliance for all inbound and outbound shipments.
• Collaborate with production, merchandising, and procurement teams to align logistics with operational requirements.
• Supervise inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels smooth supply chain flow.
• Develop and implement risk management procedures.

Team Leadership & Development:

• Lead and mentor the Commercial & Logistics team, building a high-performance culture.
• Set departmental goals, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify skill gaps and provide training to enhance the team's efficiency and knowledge.
• Foster strong inter-departmental coordination to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
