Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. engineering & M.B.A, professional certification (MCIPS/CPSCM/CPM) is desired but not essential

∎ 9 to 15 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The HOCM will be responsible for leading and developing a high performing team to manage all spends through category management for both Direct and Indirect Procurement in the arena of telecom Industry
∎ Create and deliver category strategies, Procurement Master Plan (PMP) that leverage scale and maximize opportunities for continuous improvement and cost reduction
∎ Provide a multitude of procurement approaches such as tactical, strategic, complex, high-volume, high-risk, route to savings/contract, buying channels and sourcing to contract/pay
∎ Need to collaborate across the business and develop strong relationships with stakeholders and a reputation for excellence to ensure procurement is involved proactively in all sourcing activities ensuring value addition
∎ Responsible for developing and maintaining a robust framework for supplier management which sets clear targets and measurement for evaluation and maximizes the relationship with external partners in order to drive cost efficiency and mitigate risk
∎ Need excellent negotiating skills, ability to influence at all levels of the organization and tenacity to deliver in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders
∎ Disseminate a comprehensive understanding and awareness of relevant guidelines, process, policies, procedures and regulation by all employees of procurement functions
Additional Requirements:
∎ 9-10 years of total experience inclusive of 6-7 years of relevant experience in procurement in Telecommunication Industry
∎ Required Capabilities
∎ In-depth Purchasing Management knowledge with end to end procurement experience
∎ Working know-how of Reporting Tools / procurement module on ERP
∎ Good hand on procurement experience - tendering, strategic & ethical sourcing, e-auction
∎ Familiarity with Risk Management, Good understanding of Contract Management
∎ Ability to manage multiple projects at one time. Good verbal and written communication skills
∎ Basic knowledge of Project Management
