Educational Requirements:
∎ A postgraduate diploma in garment or textile manufacturing from a reputed institute is essential.
∎ Bachelor degree in Business Studies/Business Admin//Commerce from reputed university.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 18 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ Purpose of this position: This position will be responsible for overseeing business development and operational activities at every level of the organization. Their duties will include looking after the daily business operations, development and managing quality assurance and ensuring increased efficiency. As the Head of Business, s/he will also be responsible to implement strategic process improvements and maintaining schedules throughout the manufacturing process.
∎ Location: Head office/Factory.
∎ Job Nature: Contractual.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Grow new business opportunities with target clients, business partners, suppliers and vendors.
∎ Lead colleagues and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for portfolio.
∎ Set up daily line based on Standard Minute Value and standard efficiency label.
∎ Establish business development strategies to ensure overall organizational strategy is followed.
∎ Ensure daily line balancing to meet line target.
∎ Responsible for business plan with budgets and with consistent growth in terms of performance and achievement.
∎ Plan targets and goals in line with business development strategies.
∎ Build strong relationships with the existing portfolio of clients
∎ Identify bottleneck process and work to remove these.
∎ Identify opportunities for new business development through following up leads and conducting research;
∎ Assess new operators against capacity, capability and handling motion.
∎ Monitor inefficient operators and improve their performance through training and coaching.
∎ Implement Production Studies and Capacity Studies (Individual operator and total line).
∎ Follow up on Planned Production levels and targets (Individual operator & total line) and study variances.
∎ Work with planning and merchandizing team. .
∎ Analyze Non-Productive Time (NPT), and take necessary steps to minimize.
∎ Ensure Garment Technical Meetings take place before line production.
∎ Reduce style change over time.
∎ Update skill matrix and daily active machine status.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 18 years of experience Textile manufacturing industry.
∎ To have been in a leadership role for a minimum of 7 years leading a large team.
∎ Candidate should have experience in manufacturing business process development preferably with renowned brands.
∎ Fluency in more than 2 language will be an advantage (English and Bangla are essential).
∎ Skills Required are Business Development, Leadership and Technologically savvy.
