Job Responsibilities:
∎ Spearhead formulating the framework for risk-based audit plan and strategy for internal audits of branches, Citygem priority centers and agent banking outlets of the bank.
∎ Carry out effective and comprehensive internal audit or investigation of the branches is an independent, objective assurance and consulting manner designed to add value and improve the bank’s operations.
∎ Ensure that audit plans are met, programs are carried out, and results of audits are promptly communicated to the Head of Audit & Inspection.
∎ Bring a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes.
∎ Provide high-quality advice on current developments in the bank’s internal control policies and procedure.
∎ Assist Head of Audit & Inspection by providing reliable audit opinion and ensuring implementation of key audit recommendations.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 10 years of experience in a reputed bank/financial institution with at least 5 years in managerial level of audit department.
∎ Vast knowledge in banking laws & practice.
∎ Good understanding of audit concepts & techniques.
∎ Stretch the knowledge/capability associated with audit/inspection through training/certification/study.
