Responsibilities & Context:
- Ensure required grey fabric quality (GSM, width, shrinkage, appearance, spirality).
- Control knitting faults: holes, loops, miss plating, sinker marks, yarn breakage.
- Monitor machine stoppages, analyze causes, and take corrective action.
- Ensure CPB-friendly grey fabric production.
- Coordinate with R&D, Dyeing, and Planning teams for quality consistency.
- Lead and train inline & inspection teams to reduce rejection.
- Maintain quality reports and submit performance summaries to management.
