Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Work with the designated unit/line Quality Controllers and ensure product quality as per buyer requirements, following the instructions of the superior authority.
∎ Take necessary steps and provide support to maintain the required quality throughout the production process according to buyer standards.
∎ Assist line Quality Controllers in ensuring product quality at every stage of production.
∎ Immediately inform the superior if any issue arises and act as per their instructions.
∎ Take necessary measures to improve product quality.
∎ Conduct a proper inspection in coordination with QC and FQC before the final inspection by the buyer to avoid any rejections.
∎ Maintain accurate records and files for GPQ and inspection reports.
∎ Ensure proper preparation and maintenance of necessary reports and documentation for buyer visits or audits.
∎ Job Context – GPQ (Garments Product Quality):
∎ A reputed woven and denim garments manufacturing company is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented GPQ Officer to ensure product quality standards are maintained throughout the production process. The selected candidate will work closely with the Quality Control (QC) team and production units to verify that all garments meet the buyer’s requirements from pre-production to final inspection. This role requires strong technical knowledge of garments, a good understanding of quality protocols, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
