Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. in Textile and MBA from Marketing/ Masters in any discipline.
∎ Educational qualification is relaxed for highly experience candidates.
∎ Skills Required: Marketing, Merchandising.
∎ Excellent oral and written communications skill in English (Preference will be given with background from both 'O' and 'A' level, or candidates scored 7.0 or above in IELTS).

Job Context:
∎ Leading group of companies involved in diversified business is looking for "GM/ SR. GM (Marketing & Merchandising)" for composite knit garments industry.
∎ The candidate must have at least 10 years working experience in respective field in well reputed high compliance Industry dealing with Top International Brands.
∎ Strong communication skill and at least 3 years working experience as Head of M&M or similar post in knit composite industry running over 100 lines.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Takes responsibility for overall monitoring and supervision of all merchandising and marketing activities for the Group.
∎ Should be capable of new business development & promotion with new Buyer.
∎ Manages relationships with key customers. Responsible for proper follow up and committed with the timeline given by Customers and obviously meet the timeline.
∎ Ability to deal with the Buyers independently from inquiry level to shipment of orders.
∎ Takes regular developmental feedback from Buyers on issues regarding quality and delivery schedules.
∎ Negotiates price and value of company product with buyers and finalizes orders.
∎ Must have sound knowledge about fabric, consumption's, product costing & pricing process/procedure.
∎ Candidates must have the ability to develop new Buyers.
∎ Lead and implement new technology and modern techniques to bring upon continuous improvement enhancing productivity and efficiency.
∎ To arrange all kinds of fabrics & accessories both from local and foreign sources as required for production.
∎ Tracks and takes necessary steps to ensure the achievement of periodic order booking and delivery targets for the company as part of the overall financial targets on sales and profitability and operational targets related to capacity utilization of the plant.
∎ Ensures matching of planned vs. actual cash flows through appropriate follow up on Buyers payments.
∎ Regularly collects and analyses competitor information through market intelligence and other sources.
∎ Setting KPI for the department.
∎ Addresses all Buyers complaints on a priority basis.
∎ Provides the necessary leadership and guidance to key employees and top performers through mentoring and identification of best practices to enhance performance excellence.
∎ Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
∎ Any other job assigned by the Top Management from time to time.
