• Sound knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint.

• Good communication skill in both English & Bengali.

• Have confidence to handle a 60 line knit factory

Job Context:

The factory consists of 60 Lines - 1800 sewing machines (approx.) and producing 25 lac pieces (approx.) knit garments in each month.

Job Responsibilities:

• The candidate will be responsible for managing Garments production related all activities of the factory independently from cutting to shipment.

• Ensure smooth execution of production in the factory as per the buyers` specifications and meet the shipment schedule.

• Coordinate with various departments to ensure that the cutting inputs, trims & accessories are arranged well in advance.

• Work closely with the Quality Assurance department to ensure the required standard of the sewn garments.

• Responsible for analyzing the workers performance and review operator skill level and ensure corrective action to train potential worker.

• Ensure the optimum productivity of operators in accordance with the IE requirement. Application of core industrial engineering concepts to knit garments manufacturing processes.

• Capacity planning: Yearly & Monthly, Line Plan, Pick Target, Learning Curve. Scientific group planning and follow up total production flow by and balancing the production lines to ensure optimum capacity utilization. Follow-up line loading plan as per SOP & work according to plan.

• Conduct training for operational sustainability. Meeting for Product development. Conducting the PP meeting before start the bulk production and solving the technical related issues.

• Root cause analysis (5 why) for poor efficiency and take necessary action for achievement. Figure out deviations and assists in making rectification to future production plans based on the differences between planned and actual production in the past plan period.

• Bring sustainable efficiency improvements by identifying the bottlenecks and ensuring elimination of it. Solve all technical problem from cutting, sewing and finishing

• Check and monitor the production capacity and stock of fabrics & accessories are aligned with the production planning in order to avoid short shipment or late shipment.

• Able to anticipate production problems and work proactively to resolve them prior to production.

• Maintain / monitor all the required reports that are relevant to the team and for the top management.

• Working with Top Management and other peers for strategy development, events, and execution planning.

• Ensures adequate motivation and retention of all employees reporting to the position.
