Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
∎ B.Sc in textile engineering or apparel manufacturing or Professional degree in Apparel Merchandising will be given preference.

∎ 10 to 15 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and implement marketing and merchandising strategies to drive revenue growth and market share in the knit garments industry.
∎ Lead and manage a team of marketing and merchandising professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
∎ Analyze market trends and customer preferences to identify opportunities for product development and expansion.
∎ Foster strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
∎ Oversee the entire merchandising process, from product conception to delivery, ensuring quality and timely production.
∎ Develop and manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to meet targets.
∎ Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
∎ Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, design, and sales, to align efforts and achieve company goals.
∎ Must be capable of doing accurate costing and budgeting of style / order.
∎ Follow up and organize fabrics / accessories as per requirement and quality for smooth production.
∎ Monitor and coordinate order execution related works with all other relevant departments for timely shipment.
∎ Develop and upgrade marketing and merchandising team to ensure Right First Time (RFT) for sampling and other requirements of customer
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 36 to 38 years
∎ Minimum of 15 years of experience in marketing and merchandising within the knit garments industry in handling international buyers like PUMA, H & M, M & S, S Oliver, Mango, Walmart, Zara, Tesco, Esprit, American Eagle, Aldi, Peacocks, Lidl etc.
∎ Must be capable of bringing orders from new customers.
∎ Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Proficiency in using marketing tools and software.
∎ Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a preset time-frame.
∎ Positive work ethics and result oriented for assigned responsibilities;
∎ Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and good team work;
∎ Proven track record of successfully implementing marketing and merchandising strategies.
∎ Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
∎ Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
∎ Willingness to travel as required.
