- Experienced in marketing & merchandising of any reputed Garments/ Buying House/ Group of Companies will be given preference.
- Must have experience with international sweater buyers.
- Must have at least 3 years of proven experience in a General Manager – Marketing or a similar senior marketing role within the RMG/sweater industry.
- Good Leadership & Negotiation Skill
- Ability to work under pressure and in a goal-driven environment.
Responsibilities & Context:
- Develop and implement self-marketing strategies to enhance company visibility and expand international buyer networks.
- Attend buyer meetings, present company capabilities, and negotiate effectively to maximize business volume and ensure significant contribution to growth.
- Source new suppliers, negotiate competitive pricing, and secure timely delivery schedules to support smooth production with resource optimization.
- Ensure availability of raw materials in line with agreed T&A plans and monitor production progress on a daily basis for operational excellence.
- Coordinate closely with planning, production, and commercial teams to ensure on-time shipment execution.
- Lead and guide merchandising team to manage all buyer accounts efficiently and effectively for seamless business operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers and suppliers through effective communication and correspondence and secure real-time problem solving.
- Keep management updated with regular reports on order status, marketing activities, and business growth opportunities.
