Additional Requirements:

Must have experience in the Sweater Industry.
Experience working with GAP buyers.
Must be capable of accomplishing the in Line & pre-shipment and final inspection.
Must be experienced in AQL inspection system & able to quality team.
Must have knowledge of sample development, approve samples, swatch matching & finishing quality to maintain a good standard product for executing shipment smoothly for the nominated customers.
Responsibilities & Context:
The General Manager (VKR) - Quality is responsible for overseeing the entire quality assurance process, ensuring that products meet GAP’s stringent quality standards. The role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and collaboration with internal departments to deliver quality products on time while maintaining compliance with buyer-specific requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
Have an understanding of sweater knitting construction, yarn development, gauges, stitch/pattern development and knitting charts.
Having experience and capability of handling buyers independently on Quality Assurance matters.
Conduct factory audits to ensure that factories meet international/customer compliance standards.
Check samples against product specifications to ensure that they meet customers` quality standards.
Provide technical support to merchandisers, factories and customers to ensure product quality.
All Kinds of products follow up and to arrange PP meetings to find out required attachments, and quality control systems according to style & buyer requirements.
Develop the quality standard and rules and regulations for achieving the quality of the garments.
Lead a team of Quality officers, analysts, and technicians.
Monitoring production and providing technical support to production unit when required, to ensure quality standards.
Must have thorough knowledge in planning, checking, follow-up, monitoring, and reporting the activities of QA Prepare daily quality reports and report to management.
Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
