Job Specification:

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or related field.

  • MBA in Marketing will be preferred.

Experience Requirement:

  • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in Sales & Marketing, Business Development, Corporate Sales, preferably in Exhibition, Event Management, B2B, Trade Promotion, or Service Industry.

  • Experience in leading sales teams and managing large corporate client portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy & Business Growth

  • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives.

  • Prepare annual sales plans, budgets, and revenue forecasts.

  • Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and expansion areas.

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights.

  • Develop initiatives to increase revenue, profitability, and market presence.

2. Sales Target Achievement

  • Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

  • Monitor sales performance and take corrective actions when required.

  • Manage sales pipeline, forecasting, and performance tracking.

  • Develop strategies to improve sales volume and business growth.

3. Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Lead, motivate, and manage the Sales & Marketing team.

  • Set KPIs, review performance, and provide coaching.

  • Develop employee skills through training and mentoring programs.

  • Build a result-oriented and accountable sales culture.

  • Provide strategic leadership to achieve organizational goals.

4. Client Relationship & Business Development

  • Maintain strong relationships with key clients, exhibitors, sponsors, partners, and stakeholders.

  • Identify potential clients and new business opportunities.

  • Lead negotiations and close high-value business deals.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term business relationships.

5. Exhibition & Event Sales Management

  • Develop sales strategies for exhibitions, trade shows, sponsorships, and promotional opportunities.

  • Manage exhibitor and sponsor relationships.

  • Coordinate pre-event, event, and post-event sales activities.

  • Ensure sales initiatives align with event objectives and customer expectations.

6. Marketing & Brand Coordination

  • Collaborate with creative, marketing, and operational teams.

  • Ensure consistent brand positioning across marketing channels.

  • Support promotional partnerships, media activities, and PR initiatives.

  • Introduce digital tools and data-driven approaches for sales improvement.

7. Reporting & Strategic Analysis

  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and management dashboards.

  • Analyze performance data and provide strategic recommendations.

  • Provide regular business updates to senior management.

  • Monitor ROI, expenses, and effectiveness of sales initiatives.

8. Cross Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with Finance, Operations, Production, Marketing, and other departments.

  • Ensure smooth execution of business plans and client requirements.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.

9. Additional Responsibilities

  • Support management decisions through business insights.

  • Perform other duties assigned by management.
