∎ Expats are encouraged to apply. Candidates should have a minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in quality assurance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the woven and denim manufacturing sectors for export markets.
∎ Applicants must have proven experience in managing quality programs for H&M and C&A, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of their product requirements, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and compliance expectations.
∎ The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to lead and develop large quality assurance teams across multiple production units. A strong knowledge of international Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) standards, along with inline and final inspection procedures and buyer compliance protocols, is essential.
∎ Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are required. Preference will be given to candidates who have an existing rapport or working relationship with the quality and merchandising teams at H&M and C&A.
∎ Candidates should possess a high level of integrity, professionalism, and the ability to solve problems under pressure. Proficiency in quality reporting tools, ERP/QMS platforms, and the MS Office suite is also necessary.
∎ Proven experience in handling quality programs for H&M and C&A with a deep understanding of their product requirements, SOPs, and compliance expectations.
∎ Demonstrated ability to lead and develop large QA teams across multiple production units.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Provide overall leadership and strategic guidance to the quality assurance team, including the quality heads, managers, and all supporting quality personnel across production floors.
∎ Establish, implement, and continuously improve the QA systems and SOPs in alignment with buyer requirements, especially H&M and C&A.
∎ Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, product specifications, AQL requirements, and final inspection protocols.
∎ Collaborate closely with production, merchandising, and technical teams to proactively address quality risks and improve process consistency.
∎ Maintain and enforce compliance with buyer audit protocols, sustainability initiatives, and technical files.
∎ Conduct regular audits and quality reviews to identify areas for improvement and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
∎ Build and nurture strong working relationships with the quality and merchandising teams of all buyers.
∎ Represent the company during buyer visits, audits, and technical meetings.
∎ Analyze quality KPIs, defect trends, and customer feedback to drive data-driven improvement initiatives.
∎ Train, mentor, and develop QA personnel at all levels to enhance skill sets and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
∎ We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic General Manager—Quality Assurance to lead and oversee all quality functions from product development to final shipment in our manufacturing operations. The position will provide strategic direction, leadership, and operational oversight of the quality department. The incumbent must ensure that all products exceed customer expectations, particularly those of H&M and C&A, two of our major buyers. The job responsibilities will be as follows:
