Job Context:

Now over 8000 employees are working in different Strategic Business Units under the group. We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and motivated person for the following position.
∎ The purpose of the position is to achieve the production target, optimum efficiency, minimum Defect per Hundred Units (DHU), on-time shipment and enhance the overall productivity of a 100% export-oriented knit garment factory. The position will be updated on production status, whether it is meeting the production plan or not. If not, then make a route cause analysis and give a quick solution for a smooth operation. The position will be under the direct supervision of the Managing Director.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The position is mainly responsible for the below tasks:
∎ Will be responsible for overall activities (cutting to shipment) related to production and operation.
∎ Work for 100% capacity utilization and waste reduction.
∎ Manage all tasks for smooth production, final inspection pass, and on-time shipment.
∎ Order status monitoring & regularly scheduled meetings with merchandising & marketing for order planning.
∎ Create a highly motivated workforce to achieve target.
∎ Establish the highest level of discipline on production floors.
∎ Ensure proper housekeeping on production floors.
∎ Ensure optimum utilization of man and machine.
∎ Should have to able to ensure line balancing as per layout, time, and motion study for all styles.
∎ Communicate directly with top management when need any issues arise.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least 20 years' where 10 years in a managerial position, and direct reported to management;
∎ Incumbents who have work experience in the garments/Knit industry will get preferences;
∎ Strong leadership, team management, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skill.
∎ Excellent Communication skills in both English and Bengali.
∎ Good knowledge & skills in computing.
∎ Sufficient knowledge in 5s, 6 sigma, lean management & other productivity enhancement tools & techniques.
∎ Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a preset time frame.
∎ Needs to have Strong knowledge/understanding of Planning.
∎ Positive work ethics and result-oriented for assigned responsibilities;
∎ Self-driven to work under pressure and self-motivated to take new initiatives;
∎ Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and good teamwork;
∎ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
