Experience:

• At least 10 years

• A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is mandatory, with a preference for candidates holding a Master’s degree or higher.

• At least 10 years

• Strong background in the edible oil refinery Sector.

• Prior experience in senior management within a factory environment is crucial.

Comprehensive knowledge of the following systems & operations:

• Heat Exchangers

• Boilers

• Fractionation Plants

• Deodorisation Processes

• Factory Electrical Operations

• Oversee the entire operations of the oil refinery factory, ensuring the highest levels of productivity and efficiency.

• Lead and manage a team of technical and production staff, providing guidance and fostering a performance-driven culture.

• Implement production plans and strategies to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.

• Ensure optimal functioning of machinery such as heat exchangers, boilers, fractionation plants, and deodorisation units.

• Monitor and manage quality control processes to maintain and improve product quality.

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards, ensuring the factory operates within legal and environmental guidelines.

• Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying and implementing process improvements to increase production efficiency.

• Prepare reports on production, machine efficiency, and other key performance indicators for senior management.

• Lead technical training and development programs for factory staff to ensure high levels of technical competency.

• Resolve operational issues swiftly and effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.

• Ensure high levels of plant safety, leading risk assessments and emergency preparedness activities.

• Monitor key factory performance metrics, such as product yield, energy consumption, and maintenance costs, and drive improvements.

• Implement energy conservation practices to improve factory sustainability.

• Liaise with the management to plan and execute factory expansions, upgrades, and new installations.

• Represent the factory management in internal and external meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment with corporate goals.

• Any other assignment entrusted by the management from time to time.
