Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in solar
∎ highly preferable.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct site visits and surveys to assess the feasibility of solar power plant installation, considering factors like topography, soil conditions, and proximity to grid connections.
∎ Design and analyze the structural components of solar power plants, including foundations, mounting structures, and support systems, to ensure they can withstand environmental loads.
∎ Navigate local, state, and federal regulations and obtain necessary permits for solar power plant installation, ensuring compliance with zoning, environmental, and building codes.
∎ Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and critical path analysis, to ensure timely completion of the solar power plant installation.
∎ Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and financial projections for solar power plant projects, including material, labor, and equipment costs.
∎ Conduct environmental impact assessments to identify and mitigate potential ecological impacts of solar power plant installations.
∎ Perform soil testing and analysis to determine soil bearing capacity and assess the need for soil stabilization measures.
∎ Source and manage the procurement of construction materials, ensuring they meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
∎ Oversee construction activities, including earthworks, concrete pouring, structural assembly, and electrical installation, to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety protocols.
∎ Implement quality control processes to monitor construction activities, ensuring that workmanship and materials meet established standards.
∎ Identify and assess potential risks associated with the construction and operation of solar power plants, and develop mitigation strategies.
∎ Enforce health and safety protocols on site to protect workers and ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
∎ Collaborate with electrical engineers, environmental specialists, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of all components of the solar power plant.
∎ Coordinate with electrical engineers to establish grid connections and ensure proper integration of the solar power plant into the existing electrical infrastructure.
∎ Oversee the testing and commissioning of the solar power plant systems, including photovoltaic panels, inverters, and monitoring equipment.
∎ Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports, and progress updates, and submit required reports to relevant authorities.
∎ Act as a liaison between the project team, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, providing updates and addressing concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
∎ Implement sustainable practices and seek opportunities for optimizing the efficiency and performance of solar power plants.
∎ Provide training to operation and maintenance personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills to manage and maintain the solar power plant.
∎ Develop maintenance plans and schedules, and establish protocols for ongoing monitoring of the solar power plant's performance.
∎ Any other assignment entrusted by the management time to time.
Additional Requirements:

∎ Having experience in installing solar power plants is highly preferable.
∎ Proven experience in Solar Power Plant Installation projects.
∎ Strong knowledge of structural engineering and design principles.
∎ Proficiency in regulatory compliance and permitting processes.
∎ Excellent project management and budgeting skills.
∎ Effective communication and team collaboration abilities.
∎ Familiarity with sustainability practices and efficient energy solutions.
