∎ Computer Skills: Must be skilled in Windows 2010, Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, presentation, Microsoft Office 365, computerized filling, English & Bangla typing, and document filing on the computers, etc.
∎ Valid Motorcycle License: Capable of riding motorcycle and possessing a valid motorcycle license.
∎ References: Two referees with email and mobile numbers (One of the referees must be the immediate professional supervisor)
∎ Self-declaration: Self-declaration that the person has no criminal record and has not committed any gender-based violence (GBV) or child abuse, has no direct political involvement, and has no record of fraud and corruption.
∎ Suitability: Submit your CV with a cover page explaining the suitability of your candidacy for this position.
∎ Experience: Required at least 3-5 years of experience as a Gender Expert in any international or national NGO. Must be capable of independently writing reports in English.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Responsible for achieving the project goals and objectives as a member of the project team by fulfilling the roles and responsibilities outlined in the job description.
∎ Ensure gender equality and equity in project implementation.
∎ Create gender friendly environment and educate the community about the equal participation of men and women in development intervention.
∎ Provide staff training and group members on gender audit and gender transformative community development modules.
∎ Collect gender-related data and prepare gender disaggregated reports as per project design.
∎ Support MEAL Officer and Project Officer in project implementation and report writing
∎ Ensure safeguarding and complaint mechanisms are in place and the communities are educated and practicing.
∎ Faith in Action is a national non-governmental organization (NGO) that operates in over 10 districts in Bangladesh. Our primary focus is on climate change and integrated, sustainable, and transformative community development. We specifically target the most vulnerable communities, including climate victims, trafficking survivors, women at risk of trafficking, children, adolescents, youth, and persons with disabilities. We recently received a five-year project in Gabura Union, Shyamnagar Upazila, Satkhira district. The project aims to enhance food security and promote sustainable livelihoods for a climate-resilient community (CRC) to promote food security and sustainable livelihood. To achieve our project goals and objectives, Faith in Action is seeking a Gender Officer. The position is subject to the following terms and conditions.
∎ Location: Gabura Union, Shyamnagar Upazila, Satkhira District
∎ Probation Period: As per organizational policy
∎ Key Roles and Responsibilities:
