We’re looking for a Frontend Developer with strong expertise in React and Next.js and a deep understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals.

This role is not about marketing websites.

You’ll be building analytics-grade, data-heavy user interfaces—dashboards where accuracy, performance, and pixel-perfect UI matter.

If you enjoy translating complex business logic and datasets into clean, reliable interfaces, this role is for you.

What You’ll Work On

• Analytics dashboards, KPI views, and drill-down interfaces

• Data-heavy tables, filters, and visualizations

• High-performance, scalable frontend architecture

• Close collaboration with backend and data teams to ensure UI correctness

Core Technical Requirements (Must Have)

JavaScript & TypeScript Fundamentals

Strong understanding of:

• Execution context, call stack, and event loop

• Closures, lexical scope, and hoisting

• Reference vs value types, immutability

• Async programming (Promises, async/await, error handling)

• Prototype chain and object inheritance

• TypeScript types, interfaces, generics, and type guards

• Writing safe, strongly typed frontend code

React & Next.js

• Strong experience with React functional components

• Hooks: useState, useEffect, useMemo, useCallback, useRef, custom hooks

• Component composition, state lifting, separation of concerns

• Performance optimization and avoiding unnecessary re-renders

Next.js experience:

• App Router or Pages Router

• SSR, SSG, ISR (and when to use each)

• Routing, layouts, dynamic routes

• Client vs Server Components

• SEO and build optimization

State Management & Frontend Architecture

• Experience with Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Recoil, or similar

• Clear understanding of:

• Global vs local state

• Derived state

• Managing complex filters and persisted views

UI, Styling & UX (Very Important)

• Strong experience with Tailwind CSS

• Ability to build pixel-perfect UI from Figma designs

• High attention to spacing, typography, color, and consistency

• Solid understanding of:

• Semantic HTML

• Responsive design

• Accessibility basics (ARIA, keyboard navigation)

Data-Heavy UI & Visualization

Experience building:

• Dashboards, KPI cards, drill-down views

• Large tables (10k+ rows), pagination, filtering

Charting experience with any of:

• ECharts, Recharts, Chart.js, D3

Strong focus on:

• Data accuracy

• Labels, legends, tooltips, and UX clarity

Performance & Quality

• Virtualized lists and tables

• Lazy loading and code splitting

• Efficient API data handling

• Proper loading, empty, and error states

• Clean, maintainable, reusable components

API Integration & Tooling

• REST API integration with proper async error handling

• Unit and component testing (Jest, Testing Library, Vitest)

• ESLint, Prettier, Git best practices

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for frontend builds

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving mindset

• High attention to detail (numbers, UI behavior, edge cases)

• Clear communication with backend and data teams

• Ownership of UI quality and correctness

Nice to Have

• Experience with analytics platforms

• Real-time dashboards (polling / WebSockets)

• Microfrontend exposure

• SaaS or higher-education domain experience
