Educational Requirements:
∎ Experience building functional and effective platforms
∎ BS in Computer Science or similar field
∎ Fluency/ hands on experience in JavaScript, HTML, angular, jQuery, JavaScript frameworks, Front end Frameworks and CSS pre-processors.
∎ Deep technical skills in web development technology (HMTL5, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, XML/JSON, jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular.
∎ A strong technical portfolio that demonstrates a broad range of abilities with JavaScript and TypeScript programming skills.
∎ Proficiency with DevOps tools like Git, SVN, Maven, NPM, Gulp, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, SonarQube, Docker, Kubernetes.
∎ 2+ years working in front- or back-end development
∎ Experience in integrating RESTful services, Responsive/ mobile design, Cross- browser development.

Job Context:
∎ At Oneworld, we`re building human-focused technology solutions that capture efficiency, performance, and user-friendly designs. We`re seeking a front-end developer to translate designs into crisp code and build thoughtful experiences centred around our customers.
∎ During a typical day, you`ll be working alongside our development team to determine customer needs, brainstorm solutions, generate website mock-ups and prototypes, present these prototypes to customers, and both develop and optimize live platforms. We`re looking for someone who is quick on their feet, possesses strong technical skills, and isn`t afraid to ask questions. An understanding of not just how to code but why certain code works is a must.
∎ Objectives of this Role:
∎ Create design- and user-focused experiences
∎ Build personalised and customised features for customers
∎ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements
∎ Develop standard code that can serve as the foundation of future projects
∎ Perform tasks accurately and up to our quality standard

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Collaborate with UX designers and back-end developers to complete projects
∎ Create wireframes and mock-ups of site/application designs and make complex technical and design decisions using Angular JS.
∎ Turn feedback into custom solutions for client needs and develop product analysis tasks
∎ Optimize apps/sites to improve performance and efficiency
∎ Author technical documentation
∎ Adapting interface for modern internet applications using the latest front- end frameworks and CSS processors.
∎ Develop application codes and unit tests in AngularJS, Java Technologies, and Rest Web services.
∎ Conducting performance tests and consulting with the design team.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Strong interpersonal and communication skills
∎ Client-facing experience
∎ Experience in software development concept/ methodology/ lifecycle, especially agile methodology.
∎ Experience building and supporting .NET/ C+ application is a plus
∎ Experience in React JS is a plus
∎ Strong knowledge of server- side design patterns and continuous delivery principles
∎ Excellent understanding of development concepts and SDLC methodology
∎ Strong programming and analytical skills, problem determination and debugging, attention to details, teamwork and excellent communication skills
∎ Result oriented, business focused and successful at interfacing across multiple organisation units.
