∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology
Experience Requirements:
∎ 10 to 12 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ • Monitor all quality related issues for the Dyeing, Dyeing finishing unit as per buyer's requirement.
∎ • Responsible for Quality Assurance of the products as per customer requirement and requirement of the international standard.
∎ • Build up an efficient and competent quality team and maintain a good harmony with inter and intra department.
∎ • leads to check finish fabrics, find out defects, point out them and takes decision (pass or fail)
∎ • Ensures that finish fabrics are meeting buyer's requirements.
∎ • Makes finish fabrics inspection and quality report both roll and batch wise
∎ • Checks finish fabrics quality (roll wise), record data and report to management
∎ • Ensure fabrics quality such as shrinkage, gsm, hand feel etc to meet the buyer requirements
∎ • Maintains team discipline and closely monitors compliance procedure (HSE, 5S etc)
∎ • Utilizes his workforce to bring shade approvals from buying house
∎ • Implements as well as monitor the quality control methods of entire dyeing, Dyeing finishing department.
∎ • Control, execute and ensure the projected budget as per the company plan.
∎ • Ensure that the formulas are correct, taking sample through to bulk dyeing with a correct colour match
∎ • Trouble shooting
∎ • Mentoring and developing the team
∎ • Working with the compliance team to ensure adherence to environmental, social and health and safety guidelines
∎ • Manage and prioritise timelines for concurrent projects
∎ • Write reports and document procedures
∎ • • Extensive experience in Piece dyeing of weft knitted fabrics in a reputed textile mill
∎ • Candidate should be able to handle shade matching independently both in Lab and bulk dyeing
∎ • Be familiar with Dyeing machines with Microprocessor control
∎ • In-depth knowledge of textile manufacturing process from yarn processing to knitted fabric processing
∎ • Broad knowledge of the technical processes and products involved in dyeing and finishing of weft knitted fabrics
∎ • Ability to understand and analyse fabric finishing
∎ • Functional "hands-on" mechanical understanding of textile equipment used in handling, production, and finishing of weft knitted fabrics
∎ • Time management and prioritization skills in relation to balancing concurrent projects
∎ • Ability to take initiative and make decisions within context of own work
∎ • • Familiarity with word processing and spreadsheets software applications, ability to learn additional software programs
Additional Requirements:
∎ • Knowledge on International QC process, fabric and dyes chemical.
∎ • Expertise on process Improvement techniques.
∎ • Extensive knowledge on ERP and MS Office.
∎ • Management of manpower and machines effectively.
∎ • Affluent in Business Communication
