Job Responsibilities:
∎ Mission 1: To provide support in contract and financial management with partners, vendors and contractors of Start Fund Bangladesh
∎
∎ Tasks:
∎ Preparing contract for vendors and following up on implementation processes
∎ Communicating with partners on reporting requirements and maintaining timelines
∎ Checking the alignments with agreed due-diligence, ensuring that appropriate Governance and Audit arrangements are in place and operated effectively - in coordination with relevant support-functions i.e. the Governance and Partnership Management team and the Audit, Risk and Compliance team
∎ Identify important areas of focus to supplement and strengthen Start Fund Bangladesh and ACF grant management and compliance system including but not limited to: checking the budget constructs, verifying ledger of the awardees, flagging financial and partnership irregularities.
∎ Coordinating cash request from partners and timely disbursement of funds to partners.
∎ Develop cost-tracking mechanism and report to line manager.
∎ Preserve all relevant documents (soft copy and hard Copy) in accordance with the standard practice and requirements and management of contact database.
∎ Review that financial reports received from partners and ensure expenses have been booked according to the approved budget.
∎ Translate partners' ledgers into ACF ledger as per ACF requirement.

∎ Mission 2: To provide administrative and logistics support to the Start Fund Bangladesh Team
∎
∎ Tasks:
∎ Work with/provide support to Logistics and Human Resource teams in organizing meetings/workshops/events/field visits related to Start Fund Bangladesh operations including the preparation and preservation of necessary papers/documents according to standard operating procedures
∎ Mapping of vendors in line with ACF policy related to Start fund Bangladesh
∎ Lead on documentation process including the preparation and preservation of necessary papers/documents according to standard operating procedures
∎ Develop Start Fund Bangladesh formats and forms as and where appropriate
∎ Ensure digital information is saved and organized efficiently To raise PR and tracking progress against PR and complete the payment process of vendor/consultant
∎ Maintaining stock register
∎
∎ Mission 3: To implement capacity-building framework of partners/members
∎
∎ Tasks:
∎ Preparing and implementing capacity building plan of Start Fund Bangladesh related to audit, risk, compliance, finance, HR and partnership
∎ Coordinating with relevant departments of ACF for implementing the capacity building plan
∎ Support audit, risk, compliance, and finance for developing toolkit on capacity building plan of members/partners
∎
∎ Mission 4: Proactively support ACFs commitments to gender equality, child protection and disability sensitivity.
∎
∎ Tasks:
∎ Read and ensure a full understanding of ACFs Gender Minimum Standards & Child Protection Policies, asking questions and/or for support when necessary
∎ Implement all work related activities with a gender, disability and child protection lens, taking into account the different needs, concerns and ideas of staff and beneficiaries
∎ Ensure the incorporation of gender equity principles in all policies and activities
∎ Encourage the participation of all genders in meeting and in committees
∎ Help build an inclusive office environment where people do not feel disadvantaged or judged according to their gender or limited due to manageable disability.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Demonstrated experience of working with humanitarian NGOs and/or networks/consortiums in Bangladesh is desirable
∎ Effective inter-personal skill and ability to work with different teams/units
∎ Highly organized with strong prioritization skills;
∎ Advance knowledge on Accounting and financial management;
∎ Applied knowledge on logistic and administrative management
∎ Strong presentation and writing skills, including project documentation and formal communication
∎ Proficient in computers (Windows, spreadsheets and word processing);
∎ Proactive and able to take lead with minimum resources;
∎ Receptive and adherence to the internal regulation and working requirements.
Salary: Tk. 71000 (Monthly)

∎ Festival Bonus: 02 basic salary per year.
