Education:
  • B.Sc or M.Sc in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering is highly preferred to understand complex product specifications.

  • Alternatively, a BBA or MBA with a major in Marketing, provided there is prior experience in technical or chemical sales.

  • Age 24 to 38 years
  • 2 to 5 years of proven experience in B2B corporate sales.       

  • Specific experience in selling raw materials, basic chemicals, or petrochemicals to manufacturing industries is a distinct advantage.       

  • Strong familiarity with key industrial hubs and manufacturing zones in Bangladesh (e.g., Narayanganj, Gazipur, Savar, Bhaluka, and Chattogram).       

  • Understanding of the local supply chain dynamics, pricing fluctuations, and competitor landscape within the Bangladeshi chemical sector.

  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.

  • Fluency in Bangla for effective local market penetration and strong proficiency in English for corporate reporting and documentation.

  • Sound knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel for daily S/O, D/O, and forecast reporting).

  • Ability to analyze local market trends, assess customer credibility, and calculate pricing terms effectively.

  • Ability to work under pressure, meet strict monthly targets, and handle the dynamic nature of field operations.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Achieve and exceed assigned monthly and annual sales targets for chemical manufacturing raw materials.

  • Promote and sell bulk chemical raw materials to prospective and existing manufacturing clients.

  • Actively identify new B2B business opportunities to expand market presence in the chemical sector.

  • Assist the supervisor in negotiating complex pricing structures, supply contracts, and terms to close high-value sales effectively.

  • Conduct continuous field visits to manufacturing plants and client offices to foster strong business relationships.

  • Understand specific client production processes to provide tailored raw material solutions.

  • Gather critical, on-the-ground market intelligence during daily field visits.

  • Monitor industry trends, track competitor activities, and collect direct feedback from manufacturing clients to inform sales strategy.

  • Accurately prepare and manage all essential sales documentation, including Sales Orders (S/O) and Delivery Orders (D/O).

  • Maintain meticulous records of daily field activities, client negotiations, and precise sales forecasts for performance tracking.

  • Proactively follow up on order processing to ensure client production schedules are met.

  • Coordinate seamlessly with the supply chain, logistics, and Quality Management System (QMS) teams to guarantee the timely and safe delivery of raw materials.

  • Ensure absolute compliance with all safety protocols, environmental guidelines, and regulatory standards when handling and advising on chemical raw materials.
