Responsibilities & Context:
• Identify, develop, and maintain new corporate, group, government, NGO, travel agent, and individual business accounts to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Actively promote and sell guest rooms, banquet facilities, meeting spaces, conferences, seminars, weddings, social events, and other hotel services to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual room sales, banquet sales, and overall revenue targets as established by Management.
• Develop and implement sales action plans to increase market share, occupancy, banquet revenue, and profitability.
• Negotiate rates, contracts, and commercial terms with corporate clients, event organizers, and travel partners.
• Conduct regular sales calls, client visits, telemarketing activities, networking events, and follow-ups to generate new business and strengthen existing accounts.
• Prospect and secure business for corporate meetings, conferences, training programs, product launches, exhibitions, weddings, and other social events.
• Explore new market segments and revenue streams through strategic business development initiatives.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing strategies and recommend appropriate actions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
• Handle corporate communications, client negotiations, feedback, and service-related concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Coordinate and host site inspections, client visits, sales presentations, familiarization tours, and promotional events.
• Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction through effective communication and follow-up.
• Liaise closely with Front Office, Banquet Operations, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of client requirements.
• Ensure all event details, rooming lists, banquet event orders, and guest requirements are accurately communicated and executed.
• Monitor event operations and guest experiences to ensure service excellence and successful event delivery.
• Maintain an updated database of clients, prospects, contracts, and sales activities.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, monthly, and annual sales reports, forecasts, budgets, and market analyses.
• Ensure proper documentation of contracts, proposals, quotations, and event agreements.
• Represent the hotel at trade shows, exhibitions, networking events, and industry functions to promote the brand and generate new business opportunities.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to Sales Executives and Sales Coordinators.
• Monitor team performance and ensure achievement of departmental sales objectives.
• Assist in developing sales strategies, training plans, and performance improvement initiatives.
