Experience:
8-10 years of relevant experience in FMCG Sales, preferably in the Food & Beverage industry.
Experience in distributor management and leading field sales teams is required.
Strong knowledge of FMCG sales, distribution, territory management, and market development.
Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop field sales teams.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and sales automation/reporting applications.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver business results.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned division and relocate anywhere in Bangladesh based on business requirements.

Job Summary
The Divisional Sales Manager (DSM) will be responsible for leading the overall sales and distribution business of the assigned division. The role will drive revenue, volume, market share, distribution, product availability, and sustainable business growth through effective distributor management, market execution, field-force leadership, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute divisional sales strategies and business plans to achieve revenue, volume, market share, distribution, and YoY growth objectives.
Manage and develop the distributor network to ensure business sustainability, healthy ROI, adequate working capital, optimum stock levels, and effective market coverage.
Identify new markets, distribution gaps, outlet opportunities, and growth potential to expand numeric and weighted distribution.
Ensure effective product availability, freshness, visibility, merchandising, and execution across the assigned division.
Drive market penetration and sustainable growth of new and existing products through appropriate distribution, visibility, and market development initiatives.
Analyze Zone-, Market-, SKU-, and Distributor-wise sales performance to identify opportunities, gaps, and corrective actions.
Lead and develop ZI, SR, DSR, and other field-force members through clear objectives, coaching, training, performance reviews, and capability development.
Ensure optimum field-force deployment, attendance, market coverage, route productivity, and sales execution.
Participate in manpower planning and recruitment by identifying requirements, evaluating candidate profiles, and ensuring effective onboarding and deployment.
Conduct regular market visits and joint field work with the field team to improve execution, identify market opportunities, and resolve operational challenges.
Monitor stock health and take timely action on slow-moving, unsold, short-dated, excess, or aging products to minimize business losses.
Monitor competitor activities, including pricing, promotions, distribution, visibility, and new product initiatives, and recommend appropriate business actions.
Maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and field teams to ensure smooth business operations and sustainable market development.
Ensure compliance with company policies, sales processes, SOPs, reporting requirements, and approved business plans.
Prepare and review divisional sales and business performance reports and provide actionable insights to management.
Build a high-performance sales culture through accountability, coaching, discipline, teamwork, and leadership by example.
