Education:
University degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies. Can be relaxed for more experienced candidates.
2-3 years of experience in a relevant position, with focusing on field level monitoring, emergency response, documentation and reporting.
Substantial experience in collaborating with marginalized communities, including persons with disabilities and their organizations.
Strong understanding in emergency response,
Familiarity with M&E tools, methodologies, and data analysis techniques.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and reporting skills are essential.
Fluency in English and Bengali languages is essential.
Ability to work as part of a team in a remote area and challenging environment.
Must have a valid motorcycle driving license.
Ability to manage Risk & opportunity– including identification, mitigation and managing project risks,Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills, able to work well under pressure both proactively and reactively and priorities a challenging workload
Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Power point

Job Description:
Develop monitoring tools, and systems to track the progress of the projects
Regularly visit project sites to conduct field-level monitoring, verify data, and ensure compliance with project objectives
Collect quantitative and qualitative data related to emergency response projects, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
Analyze data to identify leanings, challenges, and successes, and provide actionable recommendations·
Prepare timely and comprehensive M&E reports, showcasing project progress, outcomes, and lessons learned
Maintain a database of collected data, reports, and case stories for reference and accountability
Prepare and develop status reports for Project Manager and other management as needed and ensure proper documentation and filing;
Ensure the quality and integrity of data collected and reported for accurate project assessment.
Support the project team in adjusting interventions based on M&E findings
Collaborate closely with different project teams to document best practices and draw lessons learnt, design and produce comprehensive reports
Collecting the reports from all the teams visits and ensuring the quality and compliance and collaborate with the Project Manager to incorporate recommendations into the M&E system
Support team to develop detailed project plans for the project, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives
Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, including government representatives, civil societies, local government institutions (LGIs), youth groups, NGOs, CBOs, and OPD leaders at union and upazila levels
Undertake any other tasks assigned by the line manager.

CDD simultaneously builds technical capacities of the development stakeholders and the communities in how to be more inclusive whilst also enabling persons with a disability to participate in society by strengthening their leadership and providing them with essential rehabilitation and other supports.

The Ramon Magsaysay Award (Asian version of the Noble prize) has been awarded to its Executive Director in 2010. In 2018, CDD was recognized by the Government of Bangladesh as one of the best organizations working on disability and development issues.
CDD is accepting application for this position under a project titled, ‘Emergency Response for Vulnerable People in Cyclone Remal-Affected Bagerhat and Satkhira Districts, Bangladesh.’ to be implemented with the support of Malteser International. The project is aimed to restore and enhance the livelihoods and socio-economic conditions of vulnerable, marginalized, and coastal communities, including persons with disabilities, affected by Cyclone Remal. The duration of the project is till 31st December 2024.
