∎ Advanced university degree in Law, Criminology, Human Rights, Social Work, Development Studies or a related field

Job Context:
∎ Duty Station: Based in 8 Divisional districts of Bangladesh with regular field visits to other districts under the divisions
∎ Contract Duration: 12 months (October 2022- September 2023)
∎ Contract Type: Contract with E-Zone
∎ Contract Start Date: October 2022.
∎ Reporting to: Child Protection Specialist, Unicef, Bangladesh
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years of relevant professional work experience in programme management and monitoring at field level.
∎ Knowledge of the latest development of child protection, justice for children and legal reforms and international standards
∎ Experience in coordination with government counterparts and civil society organizations
∎ Prior working experience with international organizations and UN is an asset
∎ Experience in working with the government and familiar with the government procedure
∎ Excellent communication and presentation skills
∎ Excellent command of written and spoken English & Bangla.
∎ Advanced computer skills with excellent knowledge and skills of all basic computer programmes
∎ Experienced and ready to extensive travel and able to handle logistical arrangement etc based on local reality
Salary:
∎ Tk. 125000 (Monthly)
∎ The consultants will get BDT 125,000.00 per month for 12 months as a consolidated package including local travel. If the consultants are required to travel outside their duty station, prior approval from the Supervisor will be required. Travel and DSA will be reimbursed as per project policy.
