∎ Bachelor's degree/Diploma in fashion design, (From DU,CU, Ahsan Ullah, Shanta Morioum, BGMEA university will get prepared)

Job Context:
∎ Reporting
∎ Fashion designer will report Managing Director
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Development of new designs for every season of new designers from idea generation to the final product.
∎ Research upcoming trends and design unique collections.
∎ Working in Illustrator, Photoshop or any other fashion design software to develop the sketches, embroideries, prints & accessories.
∎ Understanding the buyer's mood boarders, seasonal colour trend, material trend & different fabric qualities.
∎ Ensure the timely & successful design & development of products in line with the requirements.
∎ Strong understanding of fabric and ready-made garments dynamics.
∎ Make trim cards, swatch boards and colour palettes for each season.
∎ To forecast demand and identify colours, fabrics, textures, patterns, prints, etc.
∎ Producing unique and attractive apparel designs for the brand.
∎ Developing best-selling styles for traditional, casual and formal wear for men's, women's and kids.
∎ Developing different collections throughout the year that must be trend-led and tailored towards the brand's current customer base. Need to have analytical knowledge on seasonal trend forecasts to create successful commercial products.
∎ Coordinating with product development, merchandising (purchase Team) and other related departments in day to day activities.
∎ Sourcing and developing fabrics, trims and accessories as per buyer specifications.
∎ Follow up on sample development to bulk production and monitor every section activities.
∎ Ability to understand the concepts and trends of global fashion industries
∎ Very good knowledge of fashion design/ development functions related to fashion industries is a must
∎ A solid sense of creating designs ensuring they reflect targeted market profiles
∎ Well updated with season-wise international trends and their signatures.
∎ Must have basic technical knowledge of garment detailing and construction, pattern, fitting, etc.
∎ Understanding of the retail market
∎ Provide back up support to our design team those work abroad.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 4-5 Years working experience need in retail business
∎ As a growing industry leader, we need 4-5 years Solid experienced, innovative and crafty fashion designer in the ethnic fashion industry. Experienced in designing Especially in Salwar kameez, saree, shirt, Panjabi, fatua, baby dresses, etc are welcome.
∎ Working experience in famous fashion houses like Arong, Rong, and infinity and so on will have extra advantages.
∎ Technical Skills
∎ Portfolio of previous work
∎ In-depth understanding of design principles, fashion, and the fashion industry
∎ Accurate and precise attention to detail
∎ Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
∎ Self-motivated and self-directed
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Salary: Tk. 40000 - 60000 (Monthly)
