Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering

Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implement fabric and garment testing at all early stages of development.
∎ Drive strategic seasonal cross costing projects on core programs.
∎ Responsible for managing and preparing key trend presentations in accordance with the customer trend guide and the relevant teams.
∎ Liaison with buyers to ensure that chosen fabrics meet quality and performance requirements.
∎ To provide technical assistance to other team members and to conduct composition, fabric, and finish analysis.
∎ Respond to product inquiries, including customer and in-house team complaints, in a professional and timely manner.
∎ Plan and carry out the development of new global sourcing routes.
∎ To Cross check all types of reports which is generated by the fabric team;
∎ Participate in the implementation of the Quality vision, strategy, policies and development of processes and procedures to meet operational requirements which deliver the Technical objectives.
∎ Adhere to quality processes and maintenance of documentation and reports.
∎ Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders including suppliers and third-party testing service providers, ensuring products are tested to our standards.
∎ Ensure all product specifications and standards are clearly communicated to suppliers and followed for production.
∎ Responsible for risk assessment on every confirmed order with active support of merchandiser and provide technical support in fabric and maintain documentation.
∎ Responsible for conducting risk assessments where necessary on new product development to ensure finished products meet our fabric requirements on quality, safety and legal compliance.
∎ Support Merchandising colleagues in the delivery of the product development critical milestones, ensuring that all Technical milestones are met on time and delivery dates are achieved
∎ Analyze customer returns information at style level focusing on fabric failures to support root cause analysis and help develop improvement plans with suppliers.
∎ Support product innovation process through fabric sourcing and innovation, new technology and color risk assessment.

∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):Fabric Manufacturing, Fabric Sourcing, Product Development
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Garments, Group of Companies
∎ Fabric manufacturing and production processes must be thoroughly understood.
∎ It is important to understand yarn selections based on unique fabric constructions.
∎ Troubleshooting skills for fabric-related issues will add an advantage
