Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Procurement of order and following it through.
∎ Provide inputs to overseas design teams for collections and market trends.
∎ Tap contacts and current buyers for orders based on the factory skills and strength for the best price possible for the company.
∎ Regular visits and communication with the designers and buyers for new market trends and directions.
∎ To communicate with customer to clarify & reconcile different matters (e.g., new inquiry, costing, quality & delivery).
∎ Keep the office updated on the changing market trends.
∎ Maintain a pulse on the designers and buyers buying patterns and trends.
∎ To be able to give a tentative spot costing during buyer meetings.
∎ Have a good knowledge of fabrics, trims and garment accessories and be able to work with the team on designer and buyer requirements.
∎ Plan & strategize target achievement.
∎ To achieve top & bottom-line targets.
∎ To develop & manage key accounts.
∎ To prepare weekly/monthly/yearly reports as per demand.
∎ Job Context:
∎ As we establish our Product Development Team in Bangladesh, we are looking for a young, dynamic, and energetic person with a strong sense of fashion who has at least 2-3 years of proven experience in the fabric sourcing, in a customer facing sales & marketing sector to make a meaningful contribution in our textile unit to reach the goal of the organization.
∎ Job Responsibilities-
∎ We need to source fashionable and on-trend fabrics, trims and garment accessories and market them to our international designers and buyers.
