• Execute fabric and garment development activities as per buyer requirements, seasonal trends, and technical briefs.

• Assist in developing new fabric constructions, finishes, and wash techniques in coordination with the R&D Manager.

• Work closely with Merchandising, Production, Quality, IE, and Sourcing teams to ensure development feasibility and timely execution.

• Follow up on laboratory trials, pilot runs, and bulk trials for new fabrics, dyes, and processes.

• Conduct and monitor fabric performance testing such as GSM, shrinkage, color fastness, pilling, and dimensional stability.

• Maintain proper documentation of development samples, test reports, and technical specifications.

• Support in analyzing test results and suggesting improvements in fabric quality and performance.

• Assist in reviewing fabric consumption, yield, and cost optimization opportunities.

• Coordinate with suppliers and mills for sample development, lab dips, and approvals.

• Prepare development reports and update progress status to the R&D Manager and relevant stakeholders.

• Provide support during buyer meetings, sample presentations, and technical discussions.

• Ensure compliance with buyer requirements and industry standards during development.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for product innovation and process efficiency
