Context:

We are looking for an Executive/Sr. Executive- Compliance for our factory. This position ensures the company’s adherence to legal regulations and internal policies related to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), environmental safety, and factory discipline. The role requires conducting risk assessments, enforcing preventive measures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough risk assessments across factory premises. Identify potential hazards and enforce preventive measures to mitigate risks.

• Regularly review and update existing OHS and compliance policies to reflect current legislation and industry standards.

• Ensure that all policies are up-to-date with local and international regulatory requirements.

• Initiate and organize training programs for employees and executives on safety practices and compliance standards.

• Conduct safety briefings and training sessions regularly.

• Record, investigate, and analyze incidents to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences.

• Ensure all incidents are properly documented, and follow-up actions are taken.

• Monitor and halt any unsafe acts, processes, or equipment usage that may pose a danger or health risk to employees.

• Oversee the safe installation, maintenance, and disposal of hazardous substances.

• Prepare reports on occurrences, near-miss incidents, and safety statistics for the Department Head.

• Ensure the factory is ready for compliance audits like BSCI, SEDEX, GSV, and Alliance, and maintain all records as per audit requirements.

• Maintain discipline and ensure smooth relations among all staff and workers within the factory.

• Oversee the hygiene, safety, and environmental conditions within the factory premises to ensure a healthy workplace.

• Liaise with government agencies, auditors, and other external bodies to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

• Address inquiries or inspections from compliance auditors and ensure the factory meets all required standards.

• Continuously monitor and address all health, safety, and environmental issues throughout the factory.

• Ensure proper documentation of compliance activities and maintain updated records for future reference.

• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Department Head.
