Skills Required: Buyer Handling,Lean Six sigma,Product safety,QMS,Total Quality Management
Additional Requirements:
- Age At least 25 years
Hands-on experience with AQL, inline & final inspection methods.Analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prepare audit reports and communicate findings effectively.
Certifications in QMS (ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, Lean) will be an advantage.
Experience Requirements:Experience with buyer audits (C&A, PVH, M&S, Ralph Lauren, Stanley & Stella, Varner etc.) preferred.
Responsibilities & Context:
Develop, implement, and monitor QMS as per ISO 9001, and buyer-specific standards.
Conduct internal QMS audits across all the units.
Review SOPs, work instructions, and quality checkpoints to ensure adherence to standards.
Maintain audit schedules, reports, and follow-up on corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
Support certification, recertification, and buyer audit programs.
Technical Audits & Inspections:
Perform process and product audits at different production stages.
Co-ordinate with 3rd party and buyers for annual/follow up audit.
Ensure that fabric, trims, and finished goods meet technical specifications.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for defects, rejections, or customer complaints.
Evaluate machinery, equipment calibration, and technical process controls.
Verify compliance with buyer technical standards (e.g., shrinkage, GSM, colorfastness, seam strength).
Training & Capacity Building:
Train quality & production staff on QMS, audit techniques, and buyer standards.
Develop awareness programs for continuous improvement and defect prevention.
Documentation & Reporting:
Prepare detailed audit reports with observations, non-conformities, and recommendations & communicates with all relevant persons
Maintain QMS documentation, records, and compliance evidence.
Conduct review meeting about audit findings to management and follow up on action plans.
