Responsibilities & Context:
Identify, source, and procure consumables, instruments, equipment, and other hospital supplies as per requirements.
Negotiate contracts, quotations, and terms with vendors to achieve cost efficiency without compromising quality.
Liaise with clinical, pharmacy, and administrative departments to forecast demand and ensure uninterrupted supply.
Maintain optimum stock levels by coordinating with the Logistics department to minimize shortages and overstocking.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procurement procedures, and applicable statutory regulations.
Prepare reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost analysis.
Support the implementation of procurement best practices and ERP -based systems.
Manage urgent procurement needs with efficiency and accuracy.
Contribute to cost-control initiatives and annual budget planning for the department.
