Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1) Developing and implementing distribution strategies to ensure timely and efficient delivery of ready-mix concrete to customers.
∎ 2) Managing transportation and logistics operations, including the scheduling and routing of deliveries and the management of transit mixers and other vehicles.
∎ 3) Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations during the distribution process.
∎ 4) Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, delivery schedules, and customer orders.
∎ 5) Coordinating with sales and customer service teams to ensure customer needs are met.
∎ 6) Monitoring and analyzing transportation costs to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
∎ 7) Managing and supervising the work of distribution and transportation staff, including drivers and dispatchers.
∎ 8) Implementing and enforcing company policies and procedures related to distribution and transportation operations.
∎ 9) Developing and maintaining relationships with transportation providers and suppliers.
∎ 10) Timely maintenance of vehicles with records.
∎ 11) Any other task as required by project management.
