Responsibilities & Context:
This role will be responsible for planning, organizing, and monitoring all activities of the garment washing unit to ensure smooth operations, cost efficiency, and high-quality output. This role involves delegating work, ensuring safe and proper chemical usage, meeting customer requirements, and delivering washed garments on time while supporting continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain daily schedules and plan work for the washing unit.
Delegate tasks to supervisors based on workload and priority requirements, and ensure proper follow-up.
Ensure proper and safe usage of chemicals in all washing processes.
Take initiatives to reduce washing costs without compromising quality.
Ensure the quality of washing processes and timely delivery of orders.
Assist in developing samples with required washes/treatments and provide alternative solutions where applicable.
Assist in coordinating and managing developmental feedback from customers regarding quality and delivery issues.
Ensure smooth communication with relevant departments for on-time execution of wash programs.
Perform any other tasks assigned by management as per the necessity of the washing unit.
