Experience:
Proficiency in GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, etc.).
Experience in reservations and ticketing, preferably in the travel industry.
Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations.
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Knowledge of global travel destinations and airline policies.
Experience with travel booking software and ticketing systems.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Reservations Handling:
Handle booking requests via phone, email, and online platforms.
Process reservations for flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel services.
Ensure accurate input of passenger details, travel dates, and preferences in the reservation system.
Ticketing:
Issue, reissue, and refund airline tickets using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
Process group bookings and ticketing in coordination with airlines and travel agents.
Ensure compliance with airline policies and fare rules during ticket issuance.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service by resolving travel-related queries and complaints.
Assist customers with changes in itineraries, cancellations, or refunds as needed.
Proactively communicate travel updates, delays, or other important information to clients.
Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of bookings, cancellations, ticketing activities, and refunds.
Generate daily/weekly/monthly sales and ticketing reports for management review.
Travel Documentation:
Assist customers in obtaining travel documentation such as visas, passports, and insurance.
Provide guidance on travel regulations, protocols and requirements.
Coordination:
Work closely with airlines, hotels, travel partners, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
Collaborate with the sales team to cross-sell and upsell travel products and services.
