Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Initiate procurement from the international market following the procurement plan for maintaining uninterrupted production in the factories.
∎ Sourcing the potential suppliers/vendors from the international market and negotiating the terms & and conditions, price, quality and other related issues of the required materials.
∎ Preparing comparative statements (CS), obtaining approval and issuing purchase order (PO) accordingly.
∎ Checking the draft letters of credit (LC) and coordinating with the banking department regarding LC.
∎ Tracking the shipment of the materials and ensuring on-time delivery.
∎ Communicating with the customs and C & F agent to release the materials from the port.
∎ Following all the necessary steps for receiving quality products/raw materials.
∎ Claiming the short supply of raw materials and other compensation according to PO to the suppliers.
