The Executive/Senior Executive, Sales and Marketing, will play a key role in driving the sales and marketing efforts for our agro-based farm. The individual will be responsible for promoting and selling the farm’s products, building customer relationships and increasing sales. This position demands a deep understanding of the agro-based industry, strong sales acumen and the ability to communicate with customers and stakeholders effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote the farm`s products to both local and national markets.
Identify and generate new sales leads through research, networking and calling.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, retailers and wholesalers.
Meet and exceed sales targets regularly, contributing to the farm`s growth.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales growth.
Generate and follow up on new sales leads, maintaining strong client relationships.
Follow up on sales leads and inquiries, maintaining regular communication with key accounts.
Maintain customer database and track sales performance.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs and competitor activities.
Manage customer inquiries, complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Prepare regular sales reports for the management.
Provide feedback to management regarding customer preferences, competitors and market trends.
Monitor inventory levels to ensure product availability and avoid overstocking or stock outs.
Coordinate with the relevant departments of the farm to ensure smooth operations.
