• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of production management software.

• Sound understanding of injection molding, extrusion, sealing, and file-making machinery.

• Familiarity with Six Sigma tools (e.g., DMAIC, Root Cause Analysis, Pareto Chart, Fishbone Diagram).

• Strong leadership, communication, and shift management skills.

• Ability to troubleshoot machinery, optimize processes, and ensure smooth production flow.

• Knowledge of production planning, quality control, and workplace safety standards.

Job Context

Meghna Ballpen and Accessories Manufacturing Ltd., a concern of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), is looking for a skilled and results-driven Executive/Sr. Executive for its Plastic File Manufacturing Plant. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing production operations, ensuring quality output, optimizing processes, and maintaining smooth workflow across the line. This role is crucial for achieving operational efficiency and will report directly to the Plant Head.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production operations of various plastic files (e.g., Report cover, Clear Bag, Zipper Files, Document Carrier, Display Books, Expansion Files, Punch Files etc.).

• Ensure product quality meets customer specifications and aligns with internal company quality standards.

• Monitor machine performance and coordinate with maintenance for timely troubleshooting to maintain optimal efficiency.

• Optimize production processes through workflow analysis, process improvements, effective resource management to improve efficiency and reduce material waste.

• Maintain production schedules and ensure timely delivery of finished goods to support seamless supply chain operations.

• Supervise and guide production staff to achieve daily targets.

• Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and raw material usage to support operational analysis.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe workplace.

• Assist in machine setup, calibration, and process adjustments t o improve manufacturing accuracy and reduce defects.

• Collaborate with QA team to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
