Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Regular factory inspection, implementing the Health & Safety compliance, factory environment, fire safety measures- fire equipment, emergency exits, chemical safety, use of workers PPE, child labor, forced labor, Prevention of harassment and abuse in the factory as per buyer requirements.
∎ Conduct social internal audit for each factory as per standard.
∎ Constantly monitoring the factories to operate in accordance with the Code of Conduct, Bangladesh labor law-2015 and international labor laws of the various buyer of the factory.
∎ Addressing complaints & grievances, organizing training sessions for workers on compliance topics, workers rights and ethical practices.
∎ Identifying areas of non-compliance, investigating the root-causes, and implementing corrective actions to improve working conditions.
∎ Acting as a liaison between the factory, customers, and external auditors to ensure the factory meets required social compliance standards.
∎ Risk assessment & crisis management. Staying updated with changes in laws, industry guidelines and global standards.
∎ To provide advice and assistance to the factory administration department to ensure the health & safety of all workers & employees.
∎ Making & submitting CAP of all types of social audit in all factory.
∎ Submit factory pre-assessment before 3rd party audit. Checking and monitoring of worker’s final settlement, maternity paper and personal file.
∎ Prepare and deliver various types of buyer documents on weekly and monthly basis.
