Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The main role and responsibilities of Executive Secretary for Programme will be to assist the National General Secretary of NCYB in designing and implementing need-based community development projects.
∎ The candidates should have clear understanding about the project cycle of community development project and able to develop independently need based projects for the Local YMCAs;
∎ Have the ability to provide technical assistance to Local YMCAs for developing need-based project;
∎ Clearly understand about result based project management and its application;
∎ Having the experience to provide inputs and support to the project staffs on project monitoring and evaluation activities;
∎ Have dynamic leadership and management capabilities with demonstrated experiences of managing and work with Local YMCAs through proper coordination.
∎ High level of professionalism and integrity.
∎ Having the ability in writing reports in English of the implementing projects.
∎ He/She should have concrete experiences in identifying the training needs of project staffs.
∎ Executive Secretary for Programme will perform his/her job under the close supervision of National General Secretary.

∎ National Council of YMCAs of Bangladesh in brief NCYB was established in 1974 and registered under the Societies Registration Act - 1860 in 1974 as a Voluntary Organization. NCYB is the collective body of Local YMCAs located at the different parts of Bangladesh. NCYB is an affiliated member of Asia and Pacific of Alliance of YMCAs and World Alliance of YMCAs. The National Council of YMCAs of Bangladesh is planning to recruit Executive Secretary for Programme for its new project named YMCA Training Centre & Guest House located at B-2, Jalesware, PO: PATC, Savar, Dhaka-1343.
