Strong knowledge of garment construction and sewing quality.
Good knowledge of measurement, fitting, and sample quality requirements.
Ability to identify garment defects and recommend corrective actions.
Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities & Context:
Inspect all types of garment samples to ensure sewing quality, workmanship, measurement, fitting, and finishing meet buyer requirements.
Check samples against approved specifications, tech packs, comments, and approved standards before submission.
Identify defects and quality issues and coordinate with Sample, Pattern, Sewing, and Merchandising teams for necessary corrections.
Conduct sample quality checks for Proto, Fit, Size Set, SMS, PP, and other required samples.
Ensure final samples are properly corrected, approved, and ready for buyer submission within the required timeline.
Maintain sample inspection reports, quality records, buyer comments, and corrective-action follow-up.
