Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Act as a key person between the operating team and customers, ensuring clear communication, timely updates, and effective resolution of inquiries or concerns.
∎ Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, client engagement, and product presentations.
∎ Coordinate with the SCD (Supply Chain Department) to ensure timely in-house arrival of raw materials as per the production plan.
∎ Communicate with both local and international suppliers to source and introduce innovative yarns and raw materials.
∎ Build and maintain strong supplier networks to support innovation, sustainability, and timely procurement.
∎ Facilitate customer engagement by managing visits, presenting developments, and addressing inquiries with professionalism and product knowledge.
∎ Collaborate closely with the Design Studio and M&M team to support product sampling, fabric innovation, and development accuracy.
∎ Oversee and maintain accurate transection reports for yarns, dyed and material issuance to ensure transparency.
∎ Oversee fabric sample planning and ensure on-time delivery of development samples to internal teams and buyers.
∎ Prepare and maintain documentation related to sourcing, planning, and customer service for internal reporting and audits.
∎ Analyze market trends and customer feedback to support strategic sourcing decisions and identify potential business development opportunities.
