Education:
    • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline from a recognized university.

  • Hands-on training or certifications in networking, cybersecurity, cloud computing, virtualization, or ERP systems will be considered an added advantage.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in IT support, system administration, or network administration.

  • Experience in managing servers, LAN/WAN, hardware, software, and business applications.

  • Sound knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, networking, system backup, and IT security.

  • Experience with ERP systems and IT asset management will be an added advantage.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills.

  • Good knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and system administration.

  • Ability to manage IT assets and maintain accurate documentation.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and common IT tools.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and resolve technical issues within defined timelines.

To support our growing business operations and technology infrastructure, we are seeking a proactive and service-oriented Executive – IT to ensure the smooth operation of the organization's IT systems, network infrastructure, and end-user support services.

Job Summary:

The Executive – IT will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support, maintaining computer systems, network infrastructure, and IT equipment across the organization. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, monitoring IT systems, supporting users, maintaining IT assets, and ensuring the smooth operation of servers, applications, and network services.

The incumbent will work closely with the MIS team, users, vendors, and other departments to ensure reliable IT services while maintaining system availability, data security, and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

Reporting to: Head of IT, STS Group

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot PCs, laptops, printers, and other IT accessories.

  • Monitor and maintain Interactive Flat Panels (IFP), LAN, WLAN, routers, switches, and network connectivity across the organization.

  • Provide end-user technical support and user training whenever required.

  • Work closely with the MIS team to provide end-user support and resolve hardware, software, and system-related issues.

  • Monitor software updates, antivirus protection, virus outbreaks, and emerging technologies to ensure system security.

  • Generate various reports as required by management.

  • Assist the Head of IT in managing and maintaining the inventory of IT equipment, software, and related assets.

  • Perform system administration activities, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and support of databases, applications, and servers.

  • Proactively monitor servers, applications, and IT services to ensure maximum availability and operational efficiency.

  • Perform regular and on-demand system backups and recovery activities.

  • Coordinate with vendors for the procurement, maintenance, and support of IT infrastructure and equipment.

  • Manage and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, intranet, internet connectivity, and related network services throughout the organization.

  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Head of IT or the CEO
