Responsibilities & Context:
Oversee all finishing processes including thread cutting, ironing, folding, tagging, and final packing, ensuring each step meets Sailor standards and quality benchmarks.
Coordinate with Cutting, Sewing, Merchandising, MCD, Quality, and Outsourcing delivery teams to align finishing schedules with PMC delivery and avoid any bottlenecks or delays.
Monitor manpower allocation and daily output in the finishing section to optimize efficiency and minimize wastage.
Ensure all finishing-related machinery and tools are properly maintained and checked for consistent performance.
Maintain clear records of daily production, defects, reworks, and finishing status; generate reports for management review.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in finishing processes by implementing best practices, training workers, and introducing updated methods.
Coordinate with Merchandising, MCD and PMC departments to ensure the availability of finishing accessories (tags, poly bags, buttons, etc.) on time.
Lead daily follow-ups on Season wise priorities and work closely with all inter section to ensure timely handover of finished goods to PMC.
Ensure proper input and timely delivery of garments to handwork and wash units, maintaining coordination to avoid delays and quality issues.
