Job Responsibilities:
∎ • Responsible to manage end to end the complete manufacturing process - (Fabric, Cutting, Sewing, Finishing/Packing, Quality and Wash) to ensure all PO are shipped on time.
∎ • Responsible for reviewing and monitoring the complete Order Booking Status to ensure that all supply chain issues are resolved
∎ • Coordinate with all concerned merchandising team to have visibility to all fabric and trim ETA, PO Deliveries. Also work closely to ensure that factory gets all sample approvals to meet planned cut date (PCD) on time.
∎ • Responsible to manage the Pre-Production activities including from reviewing and confirming the pattern shrinkage and fabric shade lots and ensuring that all size sets and pilot runs are done on time, as per approved shade lot and shrinkages, to meet PCD.
∎ • Responsible to ensure that all PP Meetings and style risk analysis is being conducted in presence of all key stakeholders of the factories to ensure all critical points are well discussed and every process owner is completely briefed on special areas to focus on.
∎ • Responsible to ensure closure on pattern shrinkages, grouping of patterns and approved shade lots for bulk cutting.
∎ • Responsible for ensuring all Size Set and Pilot Run to be completed on time to maintain PCD.
∎ • Responsible to meet the Target PCD for every styles.
∎ • Responsible for setting Quality Systems and checks in the factory and ensure all Quality SOP are strictly followed. Need to ensure that all quality personal is well trained and no kind of influences are made on them while they perform their routine duties.
∎ • Responsible for setting up Process Control and SOP in the complete manufacturing cycles across all departments.
∎ • Responsible for monitor daily/weekly plans for Cutting / Sewing / Finishing and ensure plan is being followed. If there are any deviations / delays, same needs to be escalated to management immediately.
∎ • Responsible to monitor daily production output and ensure all deviations / delays are resolved immediately.
∎ • Responsible to conduct daily status / follow up meetings with his team and also timely update management on all production issues.
∎ • Responsible to ensure quality recheck do not take place during 3rd Party inspection or brand inspection
∎ • Responsible for ensuring that there no dead freight penalty imposed due to delay in handing over goods to forwarder.
∎ • Responsible for ensuring that VCS claims must be reduced.
∎ • Responsible for attending all important brand meetings both internal and external and if needed travel overseas to attend the same.
∎ • Responsible to ensure Over time is under the prescribed Hours permitted by different brands under production
∎ • Responsible for all compliances and worker grievances are managed amicably and also ensure that Worker Committee meetings are conducted and all worker issues are addressed in those meeting.
∎ • Responsible to maintain amicable relationship with Brand quality and also manage the 3rd party Inspection team.
∎ • Ensure amicable and fair relationship with all business partners.
∎ • Sole decision maker on all production issues for brands being manufactured in his factory.
∎ • Responsible for all sample and production approvals.
∎ • Responsible for finalizing rates and contribute hugely to company savings
∎ • Any other jobs as assigned.
