Responsibilities & Context:
  1. Handle flight reservations, bookings, reissuance, cancellations, and modifications.

  2. Issue, reissue, and endorse tickets in line with airline rules and regulations.

  3. Provide fare quotations, route options, and practical travel solutions to customers.

  4. Assist customers with visa requirements and other travel-related services when necessary.

  5. Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits.

  6. Coordinate with airlines and the Sabre GDS for booking and ticketing processes.

  7. Ensure accurate record-keeping of reservations and sales reports.

  8. Monitor pending bookings and follow up with clients to confirm and secure reservations.

  9. Maintain and update the IATA portal to ensure accurate ticketing authority, BSP link, and compliance.

  10. Monitor IATA portal activities including sales reports, remittances, and settlements.

  11. Prepare and generate IATA BSP billing reports accurately and on time.

  12. Create and deliver presentations when required.

  13. Maintain and update Excel records for IATA BSP billing and settlements.

  14. Manage and maintain physical and digital files in an organized and secure manner.

  15. Ensure full compliance with Ministry of Civil Aviation, IATA, and airline policies.

  16. Verify passenger details, travel documents, and visa validity before ticket issuance.

  17. Handle group bookings, corporate accounts, and special fare requests.

  18. Manage refund cases, ADM/ACM issues, and airline debit/credit notes.

  19. Maintain daily sales, cash, and credit transaction reconciliation with accounts department.

  20. Support management in audit, inspection, and compliance-related activities.

  21. Train junior staff or interns on reservation and ticketing procedures when required.

  22. Handle emergency travel changes and last-minute booking requests professionally.

  23. Maintain strong relationships with airline sales offices and consolidators.

  24. Assist marketing team with travel packages, airfare promotions, and campaign data.

  25. Analyze booking trends and suggest better fare options to management.

  26. Ensure data confidentiality and follow company data protection policy.

  27. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.

  28. Maintain office discipline and follow company HR and administrative policies.

  29. Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.
